Media Toolkit

The Communications Committee is currently drafting a media toolkit to facilitate partners that want to feature ORBA in print, digital, and social media. The toolkit will include branding guidelines, media contacts, leadership bios, FAQs, and more.

Communications Committee Objectives

Promotion of Environmental Policies

Our committee plays a crucial role in raising awareness about important environmental policies and initiatives from throughout the Ohio River Basin. We strive to keep stakeholders informed about legislative developments and policy changes that impact the river basin and its communities.

Community Engagement and Education

Engaging the public is at the heart of our mission. Through educational outreach programs and public forums, we encourage community involvement and dialogue. By fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility, we empower individuals to participate in sustainable practices and conservation efforts.

Building Trust and Transparency

Transparency is key to building trust among stakeholders. We ensure that all communications are open, honest, and reflective of our commitment to preserving the natural resources of the Ohio River Basin.

Commitment to a Sustainable Future

The Communication Committee is dedicated to contributing to a resilient and thriving Ohio River Basin. By bridging the gap between science and society, we aim to inspire informed decision-making and collective action. Our efforts are driven by the belief that through effective unified communication, we can foster a shared vision for a sustainable future, ensuring the well-being of the river and its communities
